Current List of Educational Technology Use in Extension
UF/IFAS Extension is beginning to adopt technology. This spreadsheet (last updated 03-05-09)contains nearly every use of technology I'm aware of. Those uses not yet on this spreadsheet are currently works-in-progress and will be added as soon as possible. If corrections to this information are needed, please . If you know of additions to this list, please with the following information:
1) What’s the web address of the online resource?
2) Who are the authors and support personnel responsible for the production, hosting and technology?
3) What Extension District and office or unit are they with?
4) The format of the resource. Is it a video, blog, podcast, PowerPoint/Articulate, PowerPoint/Flash, etc?
5) What technologies (hardware, software) were used to produce / host the resource?
6) Their contact information
7) Their program area
8) Would they or their support personnel be willing to answer questions (not help others create resources)
if others wish to try the technologies they're using?

Top 10 (or 20 or 30) Tech Tools for Extension Agents
This presentation is intended to give hard-working Extension Agents
a jump-start by introducing at least 10 Web-related tech tools. Many
of these tools cost nothing to use, but a few will cost several
hundred dollars, even at academic pricing. 1 and 2 hour
presentations available.
Under the Hood...How Search Engines Really Work
This class explains how search engines do their magic and how you can tap into their power.
It includes many techniques for improving the effectiveness of your searches and decreasing the
time it takes to produce relevant results. 1 hour
User-Friendly Web Content
This presentation begins by explaining how users read on the Web - it's not the same as reading
on paper. A brief overview of the latest Website usability research leads to suggestions and techniques
dramatically to improve the usability of your Website. 1 hour
Web Stats That Work for You
This class gives a brief explanation of Website statistics, and how they relate to Extension reporting. It then explains
how the LiveStats application works and what reports are most useful to those in Extension. 1 hour
